I started out chasing space science, earned a degree in Computer Science, and unexpectedly discovered product design. Every step since has been about learning relentlessly and pushing myself to build products that make a real difference.

My role has varied from being heavily product-focused to concentrating on visual and interaction design, and at other times, development. This has shaped how I lead.
I understand what different disciplines need to do their best work—and what each decision costs. I use that perspective to give teams clear direction, coach designers through difficult problems, and turn business priorities into products we can build and stand behind.
